The challenge

Concord Wealth Partners had outgrown Practifi. The platform couldn't support their CAM (Capital Advisor Management) process model, lacked the automation they needed for client meeting scheduling and annual reviews, and didn't provide the AUM/revenue reporting their leadership required. Moving to Salesforce FSC meant migrating 30 object types without losing relationship history and operational continuity.

The approach

Cloud Nerd built the full FSC platform from the ground up: CAM processes as structured Salesforce tasks allowing advisors to request model changes, cash raises, and proposal requests from the operations team; automated workflows for meeting scheduling (triggering prep tasks 14 days before a scheduled review); death process, account transfer, and client onboarding flows; a custom client tear sheet PDF; and six integrations connecting Orion for real-time AUM data, Box for document storage, eMoney for financial planning data, Pardot for marketing automation, Calendly for scheduling, and Office 365 for email.

The outcome

Concord launched with a wealth management platform purpose-built for how they operate — CAM processes enforced in the CRM, Orion AUM data surfaced inside Salesforce for every client, automated meeting prep eliminating manual scheduling reminders, and every major tool the firm relies on feeding into one system.

The problem

What was actually broken

Practifi data migration with 30 object types

Practifi's data model differs significantly from Salesforce FSC. Contacts, households, financial accounts, notes, tasks, and relationship data all needed to be extracted, reformatted, and mapped before they could be cleanly imported into FSC's object structure.

CAM process had no digital home

Advisors needed to request Capital Advisor Management actions — open accounts, change models, raise cash, request proposals — from the operations team through the CRM. There was no structured process: all requests happened by email with no tracking, SLA, or audit trail.

Meeting scheduling ran on manual follow-up

The operations team had no system to automatically identify which clients needed meeting prep at 30, 60, or 90 days out. Every meeting preparation task was manually identified and assigned, creating inconsistency and occasional missed client reviews.
