The challenge

Level Four Advisors had committed to Salesforce FSC as their new CRM but faced the critical challenge of moving years of client data from Redtail — including households, individual and business contacts, financial accounts, opportunities, notes, tasks, and calendar events — without data loss, duplication, or mapping errors that could disrupt advisor workflows.

The approach

Cloud Nerd executed a structured Redtail-to-FSC migration: extracting the full database, formatting all CSV files to Salesforce's import specifications, mapping Redtail fields to FSC object schemas, and importing all 12 object types with verification at each stage. Success logs were delivered to the client after every import run.

The outcome

Level Four Advisors launched on Salesforce FSC with their complete client history intact — every household, contact, financial account, note, task, and event migrated cleanly. Advisors started in production on day one with zero manual re-entry.

The problem

What was actually broken

01

Complex Redtail data model with 12 object types

Redtail's data model doesn't map directly to Salesforce FSC. Households, individual contacts, business accounts, financial accounts, and relationship records all required custom field mapping before they could be imported into FSC's structure.

02

Zero tolerance for data loss during migration

Client financial data must be complete and accurate. Any missing records, broken relationships, or field mapping errors would impact advisor trust in the new system from day one.
